Pastor Steve Hoffman is our senior pastor. He is a native Minnesotan and grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis, graduating from Robbinsdale High School in 1981. He is married to Jeanna and has three children: Sarah, Luke, and Jade.

He is a graduate of Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas and has attended Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City and Bethel Seminary in Minneapolis.

This is his third church assignment. He also has served churches in Missouri and Minneapolis. He has been our pastor since September, 2000.

Pastor Steve loves a variety of sports, including golf, softball, raquetball, and bowling. He also enjoys fishing and hunting.  His greatest joy is his family! He really enjoys spending time with his grandson, Levi.

Our pastor is passionate about preaching in a way that is relevant and understandable. He believes that the Word of God is powerful and effective in changing lives. He loves the people of Fergus Falls and enjoys a great relationship with the staff at "The Naz."

Tim, his wife Jennifer, and their two children, Luke and Hannah, moved to the Fergus Falls area and started attending The Naz in July 2000. Shortly after coming to The Naz, Tim surrendered his life to the Lord. For the next five years Tim's passion for the Lord grew and in 2005 he and his family left for South America to serve as volunteer missionaries.

Tim followed God's call and returned to Fergus Falls in July of 2007 and joined our staff as the Executive Pastor.

Clay Mitchell is our youth pastor at The Naz.

Originally from Kansas, Clay received a degree in Christian Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1998. He joined the staff of the Naz in January of 2004 and is nearing his 10th year in youth ministry. He was recently ordained as a Deacon in the Church of the Nazarene. Clay has a beautiful wife Laurie and three children: Carter, Ellie, and Caden.

He is a die-hard Nebraska Cornhusker fan and loves football. Clay loves the Lord, his family, and being used to help teenagers grow into men and women after God's own heart.

Lisa has a burden and passion to reach children for Christ and feels they are also the most important people in the church!

She was born and raised in Brainerd, MN and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Moorhead State University.

After getting saved at the age of 18 and attending the Merrifield Church of the Nazarene, Lisa felt a call to full-time Christian service. She then met Wes Hart and realized that that call meant being a pastor’s wife.

She and her husband, Wes have pastored Nazarene Churches in SD, IL, ND, MN, GA, and one Wesleyan Church in PA. Wes is now serving as a Chaplain with Lakeland Hospice in Fergus Falls. They have two children, Emily and Evan.

Cindy is responsible for the small groups in our church and for the connections ministry.

She was born in Bloomington, Minnesota and has lived in Fergus Falls since 1982. She has a degree in Elementary Education from Concordia College.

She is married to Tim and has 3 wonderful children, Rachel, Andrew and Peter.

Cindy enjoys baking, reading and volunteering with the Student Ministry at the Naz.

Val is responsible for the music and worship ministry of our church.
She is married to Talmadge Hobbs, a transplanted Southern gentleman, who is a true partner in life and ministry.  Val also serves as a music educator at Morning Son Christian School, a ministry of the Naz.
 
Val was raised in Fergus Falls, graduating from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, Fergus Falls Community College and Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.  She taught elementary music in Roseau, MN and served as a Residence Director/Music Educator/Worship Leader at Prairie Bible Institute, in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada.  She enjoyed three wonderful years in Abbotsford, British Columbia teaching K-12 music at Valley Christian School, frequenting the ocean walks for personal retreat, before returning to Fergus Falls.
 
Val began serving the Naz in August 2001.

Ellie is our church secretary and serves as resource person for Pastor Steve, Tim Baker and Cindy Rogness.

Ellie asked Jesus into her heart at a very young age and since has desired to live a life growing in Him. Ellie is married to Jesse Tomford, a fellow believer of Christ, whom God has so evenly yoked her with. She was born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota however has lived in Fergus Falls since 1998. She graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in 2004.

Ellie enjoys a lot of things, but mostly it is spending time with her husband Jesse.

Tammy serves as our receptionist and resource person for Pastor Clay, Pastor Sarah, and Val Hobbs.

Tammy was born in Tacoma, Washington and has lived in the Fergus Falls since 1985. Tammy is married to Keith and has 3 wonderful children.

Tammy enjoys reading, painting and just being at home with her family.

Curt serves as custodian and general maintenance.

Curt was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has lived in the Fergus Falls area since 1982 and has been on staff at the Naz since 2001.

Curt is married to Bonnie and has 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

He enjoys hiking and biking.

He also is passionate about men's ministry and serves as our men's ministry director.
