How did Jesus train and equip his disciples?

When you think about the time they spent together, one could say, “They did LIFE together!” They ate together, traveled together, served together and learned together. Yes, they spent time with large groups of people, but as we look closer, the times of discussion and real growth seem to happen when Jesus pulled the disciples aside and they talked and learned as a small group.

How should we as a church train and equip disciples (As the Great Commission calls us to do)?

We believe the best way is to follow Jesus’ example. Let’s do LIFE together, in small group! Small group is where we expect deep discussion and real growth to happen. Pull aside an hour or two each week and seek the Lord with a few friends.
