Kidz matter sunday

Children’s Church is offered during both Sunday morning services.

Infants: The Infant Nursery is for children from birth thru 24 months.

Toddlers:  The Toddler Nursery is for children from 2 to 3 years old. This class offers an age-appropriate bible lesson, play time and a snack.

Preschool – Kindergarten: The “Pre-K” class is for potty trained 4 year olds thru Kindergarteners. Pre-K offers a more structured bible lesson, games, a bible memory verse, a snack, and some free play time.

Elementary:  Our goal is to bring the bible story to life in a memorable way for the 1st thru 6th graders. In large group we worship through song and present a bible lesson through a variety of formats.  Small group time reinforces the lesson and includes prayer and memory work. Children are encouraged to actively participate in the church service.

Quizzing:  Bible quizzing is an additional program for children in 1st thru 6th grade. Quizzing gives students an opportunity to learn a smaller portion of the bible in depth and to memorize several verses.   Quizzing Competitions are offered throughout the year. This year’s Quizzing Team will be studying 1 and 2 Samuel. The program will run during second service from Sept 11, 2016 thru March 25, 2017.

Parents may check in students at the kiosks outside the Activity Center.  Each child must wear his or her name badge to enter the classrooms.  Parents will be given a number which will be matched up with their children upon pick up.  This number may be flashed on a screen in the sanctuary if the parents should need to be called to the classrooms during the service.  Please make us aware of allergies so reasonable accommodations can be made.
