Discipleship

Discipleship

At The Naz, our mission in Raising Disciples is to help each person in their next steps, becoming more and more like Jesus. This is a life-longing journey of learning and growing dependence upon and obedience to God.

What does this look like? It looks like striving to follow Jesus in every area of our lives, believing he is who he says he is, sharing what God has done for us with others, and loving like he did in community.

How do we live this out? We practically live this out by studying His Word, fostering relationship with Him through prayer, fellowshiping in church and groups, and giving our time, money, and talents that the Lord has given us.

DEEPER

DEEPER

Deeper is a space designed to help you take the next step in your faith journey while connecting with others in community. Each Wednesday night begins with dinner together, followed by several adult class options (4–5 to choose from) that focus on spiritual growth and practical discipleship. At the same time, kids enjoy age-specific discipleship opportunities, and childcare is provided for our littlest ones.

Deeper runs in 5-week sessions each quarter (with a summer break), making it an easy rhythm to join in and grow deeper with God and others.

Spiritual Temperature Survey

Our aim at the Naz is to Reach People, Raise Disciples, and Redeem Culture for the sake of the gospel - for Jesus Christ. In this survey, we will measure the state of our collective discipleship as a church and use the data to help direct our ministries.

Update: The results are in!  Click here for a report from our last survey, conducted in December of 2025. Thank you to all who participated! At The Naz, we will encourage Bible reading, prayer, sharing what God has done in our lives, and serving others.

BIBLE

The Bible is made up of 66 books, written by over 40 people, over 1600 years, across 3 continents. Yet, it communicates 1 integrated message about 1 person (Luke 24:27). It is made up of two testaments, the Old and the New. The Old Testament is the story of a nation (Israel). The New Testament is the story of a man (Jesus).  That man's name is Jesus, who is God and the Son of God (John 1:1). Jesus came the first time to save people from sin. The Bible is about Jesus. In His first coming, He came to deal with sin. He will come again one day to rule and reign with those who have been redeemed from sin.

Make it your goal to read the Bible every day, discovering it's ultimate Author (God) and the power that He has to transform hearts.

Are you ready to start? Get a physical copy of the Bible, pick a plan, find a friend, and let us know using this form so we can stay connected, encourage you, and celebrate as we go on this journey together. Need a Bible? Stop by the Connect Center on Sunday or let us know in the form someone will reach out to you.
