The Vision for The Naz
Fergus Falls First Church of the Nazarene, what we now call
"The Naz," was started in 1923 for the purpose of reaching
those far from God with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since
the day of its inception, The Naz has attempted to live out a
love for God and a love for others.
We believe there are 10,000 people in Fergus Falls and
44,000 in Otter Tail County who do not have a church
home. So it has been our mission to reach the "10/44" in
Fergus Falls and Otter Tail County.
To reach the 10/44, we need to be effective in reaching
Fergus Falls and start new churches in our county. Our ONE
MORE campaign strengthens the existing facility and
ministries in Fergus Falls. ONE MORE is about providing
opportunities to reach one more person, marriage, neighbor
or co-worker so they may find their home and hope in our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and seek God's direction.
