"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them." -Matthew 18:20
Life is better together! Group Life is where big church feels small. It’s a space to build real relationships, grow in your faith, and share life’s ups and downs with others. Through studying God’s Word, praying together, and building community, Group Life helps us live out our vision to reach people, raise disciples, and redeem culture—one gathering at a time.

In this sermon from Genesis 11, we see the connection between the ancient tower of Babel from Genesis 11 and the modern rise of artificial intelligence. Just as the people of Babel sought to build a tower to make a name for themselves, our culture today is increasingly tempted to rely on human invention and self-sufficiency rather than on God. We are challenged to examine where we are directing our worship and attention, whether to God or to the achievements and technologies of ourselves. God alone is worthy of glory.
Study Materials
In this sermon series, drawing from the Gospel of John, we explore foundational questions that Jesus asks each of us such as: 'Who do you say I am?' Jesus is not merely a good moral teacher. He is either a lunatic, a liar, or the Lord. The cultural tendency is to believe that being a 'good person' is enough to earn a right standing with God. This is religion. This is not the Gospel of grace. If Jesus is who He says He is, we are called to take the next step of faith that He asks of us and to narrow the gap between His command and our obedience in our everyday lives.
Week 1 - Fall Kickoff
Week 2 - God Has Left the Building
Week 3 - Nick at Night
In this series, we explore how our personal expectations often clash with who Jesus truly is and what He came to do. We see how Jesus consistently defied the expectations of those around Him, whether by associating with outsiders, breaking cultural norms, or extending grace to the most unlikely people. Ultimately, we are challenged to surrender our own agendas and expectations and seek first the kingdom of God. True faith affects every area of life, from how we spend our time and money to how we treat those around us.

Week 8
In this new series we cover the book of Philippians, focusing on Paul's letter to the church in Philippi written during his Roman imprisonment around 60 A.D. God who began a good work in believers will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). God's work in believers involves three aspects: salvation (work for us), sanctification (work in us), and service (work through us). Do you feel unworthy or broken? Jesus knows everything about you and loves you anyway. So, remain faithful to complete the work that He started in you.
Week 1 - He Who Began A Good Work
Week 2 - To Live is Christ
Week 3 - Worthy of the Gospel
Week 4 - The Unity and Humility of Jesus
Week 5 - The Gospel as a Safeguard
Week 6 - Pressing On
In this series, which is based on John 10:10, we discover Jesus’s promise of an abundant life. Are you are truly living the full life Jesus offers or merely existing with your busy schedule and material possessions? Jesus is both the gate and the good shepherd, but many Christians live beneath their spiritual means. The abundant life isn't found in worldly success, money, or achievements, but in Christ Himself because Jesus is life and He laid down His own life for His sheep, demonstrating His love and commitment to our wellbeing.
WEEK 1 - Discussion Guide - Abundant Life
WEEK 2 - Discussion Guide - In Marriage
WEEK 3 - Discussion Guide - In Parenting
In this series, you will see that God calls His people to step out in faith, just as Joshua was called to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land after losing their leader, Moses. The Lord tells Joshua (and us) to be strong and courageous because of what you know (God's faithfulness), what you don't know (the details God hasn't revealed), and what you know to do (obey and step out in faith).Through the ONE MORE campaign, we aim for everyone to participate in what God is doing to reach people far from Christ, raise disciples, and redeem culture in Fergus Falls and Otter Tail County.
Week 1 - Discussion Guide - Be Strong and Courageous
Week 2 - Discussion Guide - God Go Before Us
Week 3 - Discussion Guide - Supernatural Provision
Week 4 - Discussion Guide - Who It's For
In this message, pastor and licensed counselor, Joe White helps us explore Jesus' question in the Gospel of John, 'Do you want to be healed?'. Here Jesus encounters a man who had been disabled for 38 years at the pool of Bethesda. Through this story we are challenged to consider whether we truly want healing or if we’ve become comfortable remaining in our brokenness. Using the concept of 'shalom' (wholeness, everything in its right place), we examine how our intended wholeness has been shattered through hurt, sin, and broken relationships.
Check out this 3-part series on the Bible, the Word of God where we explore what the Bible is, what it can do, and how to study it. As part of this series, we are launching a church-wide Bible reading initiative for 2026. Let's read the Bible together! Go to the Discipleship page for more information.
Week 1 - It is Written Discussion Guide - The Word of God
Week 2 - It is Written Discussion Guide - The Power to Transform
Week 3 - It is Written Discussion Guide - A Choice to Engage
In this series through the book of Galatians, we address the danger of spiritual drift, particularly how we as Christians can tend to drift toward a performance-based faith. In Paul's letter to the Galatians, Paul confronts the false teaching that salvation requires Jesus plus something else. The true gospel is Jesus plus nothing—salvation is based entirely on Christ's performance for us, not our performance for him.

In this message, we explore the concept that every person's life is like a bookcase filled with divine gifts - time, family, education, personality, and more. While everyone's bookcase looks different, everything on it is given by God for divine purpose. You were made for this.
Encourage One Another
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
WHAT ARE WE AIMING FOR IN GROUPS?
Groups helps us grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. You need others and others need you. In our Groups, we aim to develop significant relationships, study the Bible, encourage one another, worship God, and bless others. Click here to see our Group Model.

HOW DO GROUPS WORK?
Our Groups run seasonally, but some groups may choose to meet throughout the year. Seasonal groups typically meet for 6-8 weeks at a time. You can sign up for a different group each session, take a break , or continue with the people you’ve connected with.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Groups consist of a gathering of 8-12 people who typically meet 2-4 times a month in homes or at The Naz. At each group meeting you can expect to have a time to connect relationally, study the Bible and discuss how it applies to your life, and pray for one another.
